The partnership was formed in 1997 when Jim Price, a senior surveyor running a division of the London office within a major firm of quantity surveyors, joined John Murphy and commenced trading as the Murphy Price Partnership or MPP. Adrian Gale joined the partnership in 1999 from his career in commercial and project management with leading Project Management and Construction Management companies. John Murphy left the practice in 2007 to return to Ireland.
The ethos of the partnership is to provide a tailor made service to suit the needs of each and every client. Each project undertaken is given the full commitment of a principal member of the firm who is the first point of contact for the Client.
A major benefit of the Murphy Price Partnership’s structure is the ability to offer long-term Partner level commitment to a project at very competitive rates. MPP are best placed to provide a structured level of service in a manner, and at a cost, to match the criteria for “Best Value” in accordance with the guidance notes issued by HM Treasury.
The Murphy Price Partnership offers the opportunity to utilise the talents of a dynamic practice, which has a reputation for providing bespoke, customer focused services. MPP are equipped to provide the sought after “Added Value Service” utilising a small core team in conjunction with a Client’s own staff and/or other consultants as required.

A senior named individual from Murphy Price Partnership will always be responsible for the day to day management and successful completion of each and every commission, normally this will be a partner in the practice. The named person will be our client’s prime point of contact with Murphy Price Partnership and will draw upon resources of the practice and core advisors as necessary.
At agreed intervals our clients will receive our written reports summarising the main tasks undertaken to ensure our clients are formally appraised of progress on all aspects of the project within our remit.
We are happy to provide budgets for charges that are likely to be incurred on any proposed commission and during the course of a commission will advise our clients, in advance, of any circumstances that may cause these budgets to vary.Fees can be established as lump sum, percentage or time based.
All information provided by a client for any commission undertaken by Murphy Price is in strict confidence. We treat conflict of interest very seriously and will refuse to work in a situation that the Partners might view as a potential conflict with the interests of established clients.
