Quality Assurance

MPP is a quality assured company to ISO 9001.

The system is currently being reviewed to take cognisance of the aims of ISO 9001 whilst embracing the philosophies of The European Foundation of Quality Management (EFQM).

Customer Care Statement

One of the fundamental concepts of the EFQM system for developing business excellence is “Customer Focus” therefore the development of close and successful working relationships with each and every customer is paramount.

The criteria for success of the model can be summarised, as follows:

“Customer satisfaction, people satisfaction and impact on society are achieved through leadership driving policy and strategy, people management, resources and processes ultimately leading to excellence in business results”

To achieve our aims MPP regularly seeks observations on perceived failings on our part, in de-briefing meetings and logs all customer complaints for review and action by the partners to improve performance.

Where appropriate, formal complaint procedures are included in a projects organisation strategy and/or delivery plan. MPP processes ensure compliance with BS 8600.


Standards

MPP Partners and Staff ensure that they are up to date with developments in the Construction Industry through structured training and by attendance at external courses.

Quality Management Statement

The achievement of quality is the responsibility of every employee.

The MPP quality management system (QMS) will establish procedures to ensure that, where possible, Best Practice is adopted.

The aim of the QMS is to increase the probability that the desired level of quality is achieved and alert all employees of possible shortcomings. The QMS will provide systematic and objective verification of standards and by self-assessment seek to continually improve performance.


Health & Safety Statement

MPP believes that a safe working environment is the result of active participation by all employees in identifying hazards and ensuring that something positive is done about them.

MPP recognises that safety is synonymous with quality and to that end seeks to establish an effective organisation strategy and delivery plan to clearly define the recognised areas of risk as early as possible to minimise any subsequent risk of injury.
It is a requirement of Murphy Price Partnership’s involvement in any project that due cognisance is made to safety and that a positive safety system is adopted and appropriate safety measures are required and implemented at all stages.



Environmental Policy Statement

MPP is committed to the development of procedures to enhance and develop the built environment and recognises its responsibility to administer its projects in such a manner to ensure that environmental impact is adequately considered and monitored at all stages of the projects delivery to mitigate the projects effects.

To achieve the stated objectives the Murphy Price Partnership will:

Comply with all environmental law, regulations or standards and monitor compliance.

Use procedures to quantify/monitor the impact of operations on the environment.

Ensure all clients are notified of and offered the opportunity of adopting best environmental practice.

Develop environmental management systems in conjunction with clients and associated companies.

Procure for its staff environmental awareness training.
